Communication via SMS and E-mails are possible using the notification setup within LatePoint. There are options to send confirmations when a booking is placed or changing status such as pending approval to approved.

There is an additional Reminders-Addon which can also send a before or after appointment message to the customer.

The Notification configuration is done from the following menu:

settings>notifications>settings

Configuration Options

There are 4 areas to configure messaging within LatePoint

  • Settings
  • Reminders (Addon)
  • SMS Templates
  • EMail Templates

Settings

Turn On/Off notifications

In order for any notifications to be sent you must first enable the notifications. The Email Settings is just a simple tick box to enable notifications but the SMS Setting allows you to enter your Twilio credentials.

Twilio is the only SMS provider at this stage and the configuration is only available when you install the Twilio-Addon.
