Timezone – Add On

Overview

If you have International customers, appointment times can be confusing. With this add-on the customer is presented a choice of what timezone they are booking from. This is then reflected to the correct local booking time for the agent that has been allocated.

When enabled an option is added to the customer booking screen when selecting the date time.

How to make the option appear to customers

Once the Timezone add-on has been install and activated you need to configure the option to appear for the customer.

This is done from the menu:

settings>settings>steps>Other Step Settings

Enable the Show Timezone Selector with the tick box.

Where the customer can select their Timezone

When placing a booking the customer will have a choice of which timezone they are booking from. This will be determined automatically but can also be set manually from the dropdown menu on the booking form.

The Two views below show how the time is represented differently in each time zone.

When the cusomter logs into their dashboard they also have an option to set a timezone for any appointments they may want to book in the new appointments tab. Switching the “My Timezone” will not change the existing appointment times as the timezone information is recorded against each appointment.
